TV Line spoke with showrunners from numerous network shows about their futures and what fans can expect.
While most fans inquired about Chicago Fire or Fire Country, one fan asked about the fate of the NCIS spinoff.
“What’s happening with the Tony and Ziva series?” a fan named Elaine asked.
The outlet revealed that production on the spinoff will begin this summer in Budapest, Hungary. They also teased that an episode of NCIS Season 22 might “tee-up” the Paramount+ series.
“Let’s put it this way: I would love to do that,” co-showrunner Steven D. Binder told TV Line. “And I have a feeling Michael [Weatherly] would be up for anything like that. I’m open to any ideas anybody has. They are totally welcome to throw them at me.”
