‘NCIS’ Fans Go Wild for Wilmer Valderrama’s Shocking Career Move – You Won’t Believe What’s Next!

NCIS Star Wilmer Valderrama’s Exciting New Role Revealed!

NCIS fans have an extra reason to tune in tonight as Special Agent Torres, portrayed by Wilmer Valderrama, tackles new challenges. Off-screen, Valderrama is making headlines with an exciting new project.

On February 22, the 42-year-old actor shared an Instagram Reel showing him carefully applying a black Zorro decal to a gym mirror, set to the song “Brillo” by J Balvin and Rosalía. This video hints at Valderrama’s enthusiasm for his upcoming role as Don Diego de la Vega, also known as Zorro, in a new Disney TV series. Valderrama, who has been a part of NCIS since 2016, is already preparing for his new character.

In the caption, Valderrama wrote, “Thanks to @seaweanie, I have new inspiration in the gym.. as I begin my next chapter training.” Fans quickly expressed their excitement and support in the comments. “Wow!!! I can’t wait to watch you as Zorro ❤️❤️,” one person wrote, while another added, “I am so hype for this!!!!” Valderrama reassured a concerned fan, saying, “As a fan from childhood, I promise it’s in the best hands. I wouldn’t trust anyone but me to play him.”

According to Deadline, Valderrama will also serve as an executive producer on the series, stepping into the shoes of legendary actors like Antonio Banderas and Sir Anthony Hopkins. Valderrama shared his excitement, stating: “Growing up, Zorro was the one character that made me, as a Latino, feel like I could be a hero. To partner with Gary and Disney to bring Zorro back into the family after 60 years, and be a part of the legacy for other children to know they too can be the heroes of their own stories, is a dream come true.”

As for his future on NCIS, there’s no official word yet on whether Valderrama plans to leave the show. Currently, Zorro is in pre-production, so it’s possible he could manage both roles for now. NCIS fans can continue to enjoy his performance as Torres while eagerly anticipating his portrayal of Zorro.
