CBS’s Blue Bloods closed out the first half of its farewell season with a touching romantic moment.
As previously announced, the 14th and final season of Blue Bloods is divided into two parts: the first, consisting of 10 episodes, aired this winter and spring, while the second part, featuring 8 episodes, will premiere this fall. The series continues to air Fridays at 10/9c.
The “mid-season finale,” titled “The Heart of a Saturday Night,” delivered a mix of drama and emotional depth. In this episode, Danny and Sid are tasked with monitoring a detective (played by guest star Aidan Quinn) who is aggressively targeting individuals involved in releasing a rapist due to a legal technicality. Meanwhile, Frank faces a challenging situation when he agrees to assist Pop with securing benefits from the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund for a widow. However, Abigail’s investigation reveals that the deceased lawman did not, in fact, work at Ground Zero.
