Wilmer Valderrama Spills Shocking Death Wish for NCIS Character!

Wilmer Valderrama has a bold and cinematic vision for how his NCIS character, Special Agent Nick Torres, should make his exit if his time on the show ever comes to an end. Speaking at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival, Valderrama revealed that he imagines a dramatic and heroic death for Torres, inspired by Denzel Washington’s intense final scene in Training Day.

“I’d like to go out like Denzel’s character, but as a good guy,” Valderrama shared. “I picture a storm of bullets, dying heroically with violins playing in the background and rain pouring down.” He humorously dismissed the idea of adding “white doves” to the scene, finding it too reminiscent of a Nicolas Cage film.

Costar Brian Dietzen, who portrays Dr. Jimmy Palmer, has a different but equally poignant idea for his character’s potential departure. Dietzen suggested that Palmer could succumb to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a disease he has personal experience with. “It would be tragic and beautiful, showing the progression of the disease over time,” Dietzen said.

NCIS returns this fall for its 22nd season, premiering Mondays at 9/8c on CBS.
