The image doesn’t reveal specific details about the scene they’re shooting.
NCIS: Tony & Ziva will follow Tony, Ziva, and their tween daughter, Tali, as they navigate life on the run across Europe, pursued by an unnamed threat. While the central conflict remains under wraps, the series will showcase the family’s interactions with skilled operatives across the continent. It is unlikely that the Major Case Response Team (MCRT) from Navy Yard will make an appearance. The show will delve into the complexities of their relationships, especially focusing on Tali’s struggle with her mother’s faked death—an elaborate ruse by Ziva to protect her family. Although Tony eventually learned that Ziva was alive, Tali only discovered the truth when Ziva rejoined them, adding tension to their dynamic.
Unlike other NCIS series, which typically have 20-episode seasons, NCIS: Tony & Ziva will be available on Paramount+ and consist of just 10 episodes. There is also speculation that NCIS Season 22 might feature a backdoor pilot for the spinoff, though this has not yet been confirmed.
