Tom Selleck’s Bold Plea: CBS, Don’t Cancel Blue Bloods!

Tom Selleck Disagrees with CBS’s Decision to End Blue Bloods After 14 Seasons

In November 2023, CBS made the decision to end Blue Bloods after its 14th season, splitting the final run into two parts. Despite the network’s announcement, Tom Selleck, who has been the show’s stalwart star since its debut, voiced his disagreement with the cancellation.

In an interview with CBS News, Selleck, 79, expressed his hope that CBS might reconsider their decision. “We’re the third-highest scripted show on broadcast TV,” he pointed out. “We’re winning the night. All the cast wants to come back. And I can tell you this: we aren’t sliding off down a cliff. We’re doing good shows and still holding our place. So, I don’t know. You tell me!”

Selleck’s comments reflect his belief that Blue Bloods remains a strong performer and that the decision to end the series may not be in the best interest of its dedicated fan base and successful track record.
