NCIS’ Star Daniela Ruah Shares Stunning Family Vacation Pics from Portugal!

Daniela Ruah has shared a heartfelt love letter to Portugal. The NCIS star posted a compilation video filled with photos from her month-long trip to her home country with her family. The joyous photo montage was set to the tune of “Bom Feeling” by Sara Tavares. The family made the most of their time in Portugal, as Ruah detailed in her Instagram caption, which she wrote in both Portuguese and English.

“After a month of wonderful things, our summer vacay in Portugal has come to an end 🥹 We visited the amazing Tomar Castle, the city of Évora and its Roman ruins, the Évora Cathedral and the Chapel of Bones,” Ruah wrote. Each excursion mentioned was accompanied by photos, including some of the family observing the 5,000 corpses on display in Portugal’s Chapel of Bones.

“We had dinner at @cantodopoeta in Alfama and experienced the hearts and souls of the singers and guitarists…” Ruah continued. “We flew with @dreamfly, went to the 3D Museum, the kids learned to surf at @angelsurfschool, had adventures at @lx_escape, ate ice cream at @geladosantini, and played football (soccer) with our favorite Portuguese coach @diogoabreu.” The post included funny images from the family at the 3D Museum, such as Daniela posing alongside a magician as if she were floating in the air.

Ruah concluded her bilingual caption by writing, “And of course lots of FAMILY and FRIENDS. But also cookies from the best @bakebros_pt and a little work too… PS None of the tags are sponsorships, we just loved them and want to share!” The family appeared to thoroughly enjoy their time in Portugal, as evidenced by the plethora of smiling photos.

In the pictures, Ruah looked deeply in love with her husband, David Paul Olsen, whom she married in 2014. The previous month, on June 19, she penned a long, heartfelt message to her beau for their 10-year wedding anniversary.

“I knew this guy loved me before he ever said it, because his actions spoke louder than his words,” Ruah gushed. “And I knew this was the man I would build a life with, parent with, argue with, cook with, travel with, be mad at, be excited about, make mistakes with, and celebrate life’s victories with. He was my person from the moment we met, and I was his.” The couple welcomed their son River Isaac in December 2013 and their daughter Sierra Esther in September 2016.
