“Twofer” – NCIS Episode Summary and Pauley Perrette: Life After Acting
In the NCIS episode “Twofer,” the team is called to investigate when the body of a missing Navy Lieutenant, who vanished a year and a half ago, is discovered by a cemetery grounds crew while they are relocating caskets on the property. Additionally, Gibbs and McGee must pass a psych evaluation with Doctor Grace Confalone (Laura San Giacomo) before they can officially resume all work responsibilities. Pauley Perrette: Life After Acting
Since the cancellation of her series “Broke” in 2020, Pauley Perrette has kept a low profile in the acting world, announcing her retirement from the industry that same year to focus on life’s simpler pleasures.
In October 2020, Perrette took to social media to express her excitement about retirement, stating, “I finally and happily retired! And this is what I was looking forward to. My rules in life now are ‘if my rescue dogs don’t care, it’s cool! I only answer to God and animals and plants now. WOOT!!!” She had previously hinted at her retirement plans in a July 2020 tweet, mentioning her pride in her final project, “Broke.”
Despite stepping away from acting, Perrette remains active in charity work and often appears at red carpet events. She notably attended a charity event for the Los Angeles LGBT Center in March, showcasing her continued support for important causes. While fans of “NCIS” may miss her on screen, Perrette appears to be enjoying every moment of her post-acting life.
