“We get to see this torn-apart version of Mike Franks,” Schmid, 40, said of the November 4 episode titled “Last Rites.” In this gripping installment, Franks is haunted by a broken promise to a woman: he vowed to bring her sister’s killer to justice but fell short.
In a dramatic turn, Franks encounters his old nemesis, now on death row, during the convict’s final hours. The killer, known as Hope, claims he’ll reveal the burial location of his victim, yet Franks remains doubtful. As he searches for retribution and a shot at redemption, viewers will see Franks confront his deepest regrets and an enemy he failed to defeat.
