NCIS’ Season 22 Teases Intense ‘Designated Survivor’ Twist!

In NCIS Season 22, Episode 4, “Sticks & Stones,” the team faces one of their most daunting threats yet. After resolving the squatter issue in Episode 3, “The Trouble with Hal,” they’re thrust into a high-stakes mission to prevent an international catastrophe. According to the official episode synopsis, NCIS springs into action upon receiving intelligence about multiple deadly threats, any one of which could lead to a catastrophic conflict.

In a sneak peek released by CBS, Parker and Torres engage in a tense call with other U.S. agencies, learning just how dire the situation has become. A map on a screen indicates potential trouble in multiple European countries, aside from Russia and its close ally, Belarus. “We have to assume some kind of Russian cyberattack to degrade our command and control capabilities before Belarus launches those missiles,” a General warns, highlighting the looming risk of U.S.-operated missile control loss in the region. With stakes this high, it’s a race against time for the team to neutralize the danger before it escalates.
