Blue Bloods has officially wrapped filming, marking the end of an era for the cast and crew. In a heartfelt tribute to his character, NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan, Tom Selleck shared his reflections on the final scene during an interview with TV Insider.
My last scene was, fittingly, a family dinner—just like the very first scene I shot 15 years ago,” he revealed.
I won’t give away too much about the last episode, but that family dinner serves as a reunion for the Reagan family. Erin’s daughter Nicky (Sami Gayle) and Jack (Tony Terraciano), Danny’s older son, were both there. Everyone agreed it was important to close the set for that scene and keep it private. Most of the cast had a few more days of shooting ahead, but I was ready to wrap things up.
