Brian Dietzen Teases an “Intense” NCIS Season 21 Finale

As NCIS approaches its 1,000th episode milestone, Brian Dietzen, who plays Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Jimmy Palmer, is building excitement for the Season 21 finale. Scheduled to air on CBS on Monday, May 6, the finale promises to deliver some of the most intense and dramatic moments the series has seen in years.

“This finale is not to be missed,” Dietzen told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s incredibly intense, dealing with life-and-death situations that we haven’t explored in quite some time.”

Katrina Law, who portrays Special Agent Jessica Knight, echoed the anticipation, hinting at significant developments. “There’s a lot of soul-searching and fundamental changes for our characters,” she said. “It’s one of my favorite scripts I’ve read all season. The episode sets the stage for a fascinating next season.”

As NCIS gears up for its 22nd season this fall, fans will also be bidding farewell to NCIS: Hawai’i. The spin-off, which has been canceled after three seasons, will conclude on May 6. Vanessa Lachey, who stars as Special Agent Jane Tennant, took to Instagram to express her shock and disappointment, saying she felt “blindsided” by the news.

NCIS airs on CBS in the US, with Seasons 1-20 available for streaming on Disney+ in the UK.
