Donnie Wahlberg’s Heartfelt Tribute to Late Blue Bloods Star Nick Cordero!

Donnie Wahlberg was visibly emotional as he paid tribute to his late Blue Bloods castmate, Nick Cordero, during a recent appearance on The Talk. Joining his wife, Jenny McCarthy, for the interview, Donnie found himself in tears as Amanda Kloots, Cordero’s widow and one of the show’s co-hosts, struggled to maintain her composure while expressing her gratitude for the support she received from Wahlberg and McCarthy after her husband’s death from COVID-19 last year.

“I was truly blessed to work with Nick,” Donnie said, wiping away tears. “He was so fun, so outgoing, and larger than life… He was a huge part of the Blue Bloods family.”

Wahlberg also praised Kloots, saying, “When I learned Nick was in the hospital, I immediately followed you on Instagram and reached out. Your spirit throughout that experience was incredibly inspiring. It’s clear why you were the love of his life.”

Donnie revealed that Kloots’ strength also had a profound impact on him during his own challenging time, as his mother was dying recently. “I tried to channel that same strength during my mom’s last year, celebrating each moment,” he said. “Kudos to you.”

As autumn approaches, so does spider season. Experts predict that the average person may share their home with around 50 spiders during the fall months, as these eight-legged creatures seek shelter from the cooler weather. With searches on how to get rid of spiders surging, James Sheldon of Online Sofa Shop has identified an unexpected attractor: crumbs in your sofa.

Sheldon explained, “Spiders are drawn to homes because of the insects they consume. Crumbs and food remnants can attract insects, which in turn attract spiders. The small crevices and cracks in your sofa provide an ideal habitat for these spiders as they follow their prey.”

To prevent spiders from invading your sofa, Sheldon recommends regular cleaning. Vacuuming loose crumbs and dusting off the sofa can help deter insects and spiders. He also suggests treating spills and stains promptly to prevent them from becoming a food source for pests.

Here are some additional tips to keep spiders out of your home:

  1. Seal Entry Points: Use caulk or weather stripping to seal gaps and cracks around windows and doors, preventing spiders from entering.
  2. Peppermint Oil: Spiders are repelled by peppermint oil. Mix peppermint oil with water and spray it around windows and doorframes to keep spiders at bay.
  3. Vinegar Solution: A mixture of equal parts water and vinegar can drive spiders away. Spray this solution in corners and crevices to repel both spiders and ants.
  4. Citrus Paste: Spiders dislike citrus scents. Blend leftover citrus fruit with water to create a paste and apply it to windowsills and areas where spiders frequent.
  5. Regular Cleaning: Keep your home clean by vacuuming regularly to remove cobwebs and using a damp cloth with mild cleaner to wipe down surfaces, which will help prevent spiders from settling in.

By following these tips, you can help keep spiders at bay and maintain a cleaner, more spider-free home.
