Vanessa Lachey is still grappling with the recent cancellation of her CBS show, NCIS: Hawai’i. The actress, who stars as Special Agent Jane Tennant, took to Instagram on Saturday to express her emotions about the show’s end.

In a poignant Instagram Story, Lachey wrote, “Gutted, confused, blindsided,” adding that she is processing the news while staying present with her family. She concluded her message with a heartfelt “Mahalo Nui Loa” to her fans for their support.

CBS announced the cancellation of NCIS: Hawai’i after three seasons, with the news coming just before the Season 3 finale, scheduled to air on May 6. As the first female lead in an NCIS franchise, Lachey’s role as Jane Tennant marked a significant milestone in the series’ history.
