Bridgerton’ and ‘Ted Lasso’ Stars Join NCIS Spin-Off—You’ll Be Surprised!

The NCIS spin-off NCIS: Tony & Ziva is officially in the works, and the cast is expanding with some exciting new additions. Julian Ovenden, known for his role as Henry Granville on Bridgerton, and Maximilian Osinski from Ted Lasso are joining the series.

In the upcoming spin-off, Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo reprise their roles as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David. The plot will follow the pair as they go on the run across Europe with their young daughter after an attack on Tony’s security firm.

Ovenden will play Jonah, a former computer programmer who has risen to become the Secretary General of Interpol. Osinski will take on the role of Boris, a Russian expatriate and skilled computer hacker.

Other new cast members include Isla Gie (The Sandman) as Tali, Tony and Ziva’s 12-year-old daughter; Amita Suman (Shadow and Bone) as Claudette, a Chief Technical Officer at Tony’s security company; Nassima Benchicou (Emily in Paris) as Martine, a former French intelligence agent; Terence Maynard (Coronation Street) as Dr. Lang, an experienced therapist; Lara Rossi (I May Destroy You) as Sophie, a former SAS operative; and James D’Arcy (Agent Carter) as Henry, a high-ranking Interpol official.

The announcement of the new cast follows Weatherly’s recent comments about the show’s serialized format. He described the spin-off as a “10-hour movie,” noting that the extended, continuous storyline will allow for deeper character exploration and fewer recaps.

NCIS airs on CBS in the US, and all 20 seasons are streaming on Disney+ in the UK.
