JAG, a classic military legal drama, is set to stream in its entirety on Prime Video starting July 1, 2024. Created by Donald P. Bellisario, JAG was the precursor to NCIS, which has since become the most-watched scripted show on network television. JAG’s success paved the way for the NCIS franchise, spawning multiple spin-offs and remaining popular to this day.
While NCIS has become a significant television franchise, it owes its existence to JAG, the military legal drama that began in 1995 and led to the creation of NCIS after its eighth season in 2002. Paramount+ has hosted a handful of JAG episodes for a while, but the entire series has never been available for streaming—until now. All 10 seasons of JAG are making their way to Prime Video.
According to TV Line, the 227 episodes comprising JAG’s 10 seasons will be available to stream on Prime Video starting July 1, 2024. Fans can relive all the drama and intrigue surrounding the Judge Advocate General Corps. Starring David James Elliott as Harmon “Harm” Rabb, Jr. and Catherine Bell as Sarah “Mac” MacKenzie, JAG is widely regarded as one of the best military dramas of all time, having been nominated for 11 Primetime Emmy Awards and winning three during its run.
