Wilmer Valderrama Reveals Shocking and Grisly End for NCIS’ Nick Torres!

Wilmer Valderrama envisions a dramatic, heroic death for his character, Nick Torres, in NCIS, featuring a storm of bullets and violins in the background. Despite NCIS’s history of intense scenes, major character deaths are rare, making it uncertain if Torres will meet Valderrama’s wishes. While NCIS may be scaling back on violence, the Paramount+ spinoff with Tony and Ziva could provide Torres with his ideal death scene.

Valderrama, essentially a replacement for Michael Weatherly’s Tony DiNozzo Jr., has been a part of the police procedural since 2016. As a solid addition to the team, Torres was the final official member of the squad mentored by Mark Harmon’s Leroy Jethro Gibbs. As NCIS season 22 approaches, Valderrama entertains the idea of ending his arc in a gruesome way.

Speaking at the 2024 Monte-Carlo Television Festival in Monaco, Valderrama revealed his vision for Torres’s death in NCIS. While there’s no concrete indication that this is in his future, the actor has a clear idea of how he wants it to unfold. Read his full quote below:

“Like Denzel Washington in Training Day — just go out. I think not being the bad guy [like Harris was], of course, I’d like to die as a good guy. But defending my family somehow, just in a storm of bullets, I just see a storm of bullets washing over me, dying heroically with violins in the background and the rain pouring.”
