NCIS Season 22 Confirmed for Fall 2024 – Don’t Miss It!

Following the intense moments of the NCIS Season 21 finale, which featured tough choices and daring rescues, fans are eagerly anticipating the team’s return. The good news is that the wait won’t be long. NCIS Season 22 is officially slated to premiere in fall 2024.

CBS has confirmed that the NCIS Season 22 premiere will air in the fall, following the network’s May 2 Upfronts announcement. The show will maintain its Monday 9/8c timeslot, continuing as one of CBS’s top-rated programs despite a slight decline in linear ratings since moving to Mondays.

Following NCIS, a new series within the franchise will debut, though not NCIS: Hawaii, which remains canceled. Instead, CBS is introducing NCIS: Origins, focusing on a young Gibbs.

Concerns about potential delays have been addressed, with assurances that the new season will premiere on schedule. Last year’s postponement was due to strikes by the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and SAG-AFTRA, which disrupted writing and production schedules. With new contracts now in place, writing can proceed as planned, and production is set to commence in July.

Fans can anticipate a mid-to-late September premiere, typically shortly after the 20th of the month, marking the return of NCIS for the fall 2024 season.
