NCIS: Hawai’i Axed! CBS Stuns Fans with Shocking Decision Amid Renewal Frenzy!

After three seasons on CBS, NCIS: Hawai’i is coming to a close.

The network’s decision regarding the show’s fate was revealed just days before its anticipated grand finale airs on May 6. The Hollywood Reporter broke the news of the cancellation, highlighting it as one of the most notable exits from CBS this season.

While NCIS: Hawai’i bids farewell, CBS has recently renewed several other NCIS shows. The original NCIS series secured a 22nd season renewal, while NCIS: Sydney received a green light for its second season in March. Additionally, CBS has plans to introduce a new addition to the franchise, NCIS: Origins, for the 2024-2025 season. This prequel series will delve into the early days of Leroy Jethro Gibbs, portrayed by Mark Harmon, with Austin Stowell portraying a younger version of the iconic character.

Despite its popularity, NCIS: Hawai’i’s cancellation marks it as the shortest-lived NCIS installment to date.
