Gibbs’ Dad Takes Center Stage in Explosive NCIS Spin-Off! You Won’t Believe What Happens Next!

NCIS: Origins has cast Robert Taylor, known for his role in Longmire, as Jackson Gibbs, Leroy Jethro Gibbs’ father in the upcoming prequel series.

Set at NCIS Camp Pendleton, the show will explore the early career of a young Gibbs as he embarks on his journey as a special agent. Alongside Taylor, Daniel Bellomy from Power Book II: Ghost and Caleb Martin Foote from Made for Love have also joined the cast.

Bellomy will portray Special Agent Granville “Granny” Dawson, a determined “probie” aspiring to rise through the ranks. Foote takes on the role of Special Agent Benjamin “Randy” Randolf, described as the agency’s amiable “golden boy” tasked with mentoring the fledgling Agent Gibbs.

These additions complement the previously announced cast, including Austin Stowell, Mariel Molino, Kyle Schmid, and Diany Rodriguez, who will portray Gibbs, Lala Dominguez, Mike Franks, and Vera Strickland, respectively.

NCIS: Origins, produced by Mark Harmon and his son Sean Harmon, promises to delve into the formative years of Leroy Jethro Gibbs. Co-showrunners Gina Lucita Monreal and David J. North express excitement about unfolding this new chapter in collaboration with the Harmons, assuring fans that even the most devoted NCIS enthusiasts will uncover untold aspects of Gibbs’ story.

Although a release date is yet to be announced, viewers in the US can catch NCIS on CBS, while UK audiences can stream Seasons 1-20 on Disney+.
