Set to premiere in the 2024/2025 television season, “NCIS: Origins” is expanding Leroy Jethro Gibbs’ world with new cast members, Deadline reports. Daniel Bellomy, Caleb Martin Foote, and Robert Taylor are set to recur in the series, joining the main cast led by Austin Stowell, who portrays Young Gibbs.

Bellomy takes on the role of Special Agent Granville “Granny” Dawson, a young probationary agent eager to advance from his position as an Evidence Custodian assistant to become a field agent. Foote portrays Special Agent Benjamin “Randy” Randolf, beloved by all at the agency, who draws on his experience as a father of twins to mentor Gibbs with patience and expertise. Taylor steps into the role of Jackson Gibbs, the tough-as-nails father of Young Gibbs, previously portrayed by Ralph Waite.

The new cast members join a stellar ensemble including Mariel Molino as Special Agent Lala Dominguez, Kyle Schmid as Young Mike Franks, Tyla Abercrumbie as Field Operation Support Officer Mary Jo, and Diany Rodriguez as Special Agent Vera Strickland. “NCIS: Origins” delves into Gibbs’ early years in 1991 at Camp Pendleton, as he joins Franks’ tough team and learns the ropes of law enforcement.

Bellomy, known for his role as Zeke Cross in “Power Book II: Ghost,” will also appear in the upcoming Ryan Murphy limited drama series “American Sport Story.” Foote’s credits include Max’s comedy series “Made For Love” and guest appearances on various shows like “American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” Taylor, recognized for his role as Walt Longmire in the Netflix drama series “Longmire,” brings his seasoned talent to the cast.

“NCIS: Origins” promises to enrich Leroy Jethro Gibbs’ story and is set to air during the 2024/2025 TV season, while past seasons of the flagship series are available for streaming on Paramount+.
